Porsche Boxster 2.5 or 2.7 986 Performance Exhaust Decat Pipes, 96 -> 04

This is a pair of pipes with the fittings to remove the catalytic converters from a 986 chassis Porsche Boxster.

When you remove the cats the engine can breathe so you will get more power and improved throttle response.

Decat Features:

• Typical gains will be around 5 – 20bhp depending on other mods
• Laser cut Stainless cat-back flanges, and CNC’d Stainless
• 100% TIG welded
• Large ??” bore, for maximum flow

Cars made during or after 2000 have additional sensors and you will need to have bosses for these welded in if you are not having them mapped out of the ECU.

Because this will remove a catalytic converter it is not road legal in the UK. It is also likely to bring on an engine management light, there are 2 solutions to remove this, 1/ have the car remapped 2/ fit engine light cheater to the lambda sensors. Option 1 is the prefered method as it will also allow the engine to fully take advantage of the improved flow and maximise the power. If you choose option 2 then ask for the link to the cheaters.
