Mazda MX5 Mk2.5 1.6 or 1.8 DeCat Performance Exhaust

This decat replaces the restrictive OE cat with a free flowing 60mm straight pipe. It  will improve throttle response and increase power, changing to a decat is probably the most cost effective way of increasing power but means your car is not road legal.

Comes complete with the required gaskets, nuts and bolts for fitting.

If you want to fit it to the OE centrepipe you will need to cut off the part of the pipe that protrudes past the flange. If you fit it with a Malian centrepipe this won’t be required.

Made by Malian Exhausts from high quality stainless steel and complete with a full fitting kit this exhaust is really easy to fit and will last for many years to come. All welds are done using TIG for ultimate quality and looks.

Fitting this exhaust on this car will fail a UK MOT and a remap would be advised but we would always recommend having the part fitted by a professional and taking their advice.

Once fitted the car will have more power and slightly deeper exhaust note.

Can also be used on the Mk2 (99 to 00) cars but you will also need to change to the Mk2.5 centerpipe at the same time.
