Made from 2.5″ mild steel this pipe is 470mm long, Mazda changed the length of the cat around 1997 so make sure you have the 470mm version and not the 440mm one of the earlier cars.

Design features

The pipe is made from 10mm mild steel flanges with a 1.5mm mild steel tube and TIG welded joints, it comes complete with a pair of gaskets and a set of M8 nuts, bolts and washers and a pair of stickers.

Fitment notes

This pipe has been designed to fit with the standard exhaust however the flange has been changed slightly so you will see a difference in the flange type between the OEM cat and this pipe.

This pipe allows you to remove the cat and replace it with a straight through pipe. This removes the restrictive filter and gives the car more power, it is not legal to run this pipe on the road in the UK. It is painted in a black VHT paint to prevent corrosion.
