Mazda MX5 1.8 Mk1 2.5″ Sports Cat Performance Exhaust Pipe, (NA, 97 to 98)

This pipe allows you to remove the cat and replace it with a 200 cell sports cat version. This removes the restrictive OEM filter and gives the car more power.

Flanges are painted in a black VHT paint to prevent corrosion.

Made from 2.5″ stainless steel this pipe is 470mm long, Mazda changed the length of the cat around 1997 so make sure you have the 470mm version and not the 440mm or 370mm from one of the earlier cars.

This pipe has been designed to fit with the standard exhaust however the flange has been changed slightly the you will see a different in the flange type between the OEM cat and this pipe.

The pipe is made from 10mm mild steel flanges with a 1.5mm stainless steel tube and TIG welded joints, it comes complete with a pair of gaskets and a set of M8 nuts, bolts and washers and a pair of stickers.
