Mazda MX5/Miata Mk2.5 1.8 Equal Length Sports Cat Exhaust Manifold, 01-05
Developed for 01–05 Mazda MX5 / Miata Mk2.5 (NBFL) with the 1.8 engine (BP), this sports-cat section combines performance-oriented pipework with a catalytic core in an application-specific assembly.
Formed from 1.75-inch to 2.5-inch stainless steel pipework with TIG-welded joints, this section pairs freer-flowing pipework with a performance catalyst to support stronger flow and engine response.
Key features
- Vehicle-specific fitment: Mazda MX5 / Miata Mk2.5 (NBFL) — 01-05
- Equal-length runner layout for more consistent exhaust pulse timing
- 1.75″ to 2.5″ pipework · Stainless Steel construction · TIG-welded joints
- Fitting kit included
Sound and character
The freer-flowing section can add a stronger exhaust note while retaining a catalytic core.

Built Around the Mazda MX-5 Mk2.5
The Mazda MX-5 Mk2.5 builds on the lightweight, rear-wheel-drive character of the second-generation roadster. A carefully matched exhaust can give it a deeper, more distinctive tone without taking away from its responsive feel.
On Mk2.5 models, the catalytic converter is positioned between the manifold and centre pipe. Confirm the NBFL chassis reference, engine size and the product-specific connection and clearance notes before ordering.
