Mazda MX5/Miata Mk1 1.8 Race Unequal Exhaust Manifold, 94-96
Mazda MX5/Miata Mk1 1.8 Race Unequal Exhaust Manifold, 94-96
Important fitment information
Important: Gives a unique exhaust note due to the unequal design. For cars with the 440mm cat fitted. May require water pipe to heater core to be adjusted, ask for video if required. Does not fit the later 1997–98 1.8 135 hp model.
Designed around 94–96 Mazda MX5 / Miata / Eunos Roadster Mk1 (NA) with the 1.8 engine (BP), this unequal-length tubular manifold uses deliberately varied runner lengths to preserve a distinctive exhaust pulse.
The manifold uses 1.75-inch to 2.5-inch stainless steel pipework with TIG-welded joints; its runner and collector layout is designed to improve exhaust flow and support sharper engine response.

Developed for the Mazda MX-5 NA
The original MX-5 is defined by low weight, direct controls and a responsive
naturally aspirated engine. Exhaust upgrades for the NA should complement that
character with clean response and an engaging tone without masking the car’s
simplicity. Check the product-specific engine, model-year and fitment details above,
as 1.6 and 1.8-litre applications are not always interchangeable.
