Mazda MX5/Miata 1.6/1.8 NA Late Twin 4″ Exit Performance Catback Exhaust, 97-98
Important fitment information
Important: Twin 4″ stainless tailpipes, the twin pipes balance up the rear of the car and the straight pipe design gives the full noise of the engine. Requires the bumper to be cut on the left side. Fitment is restricted to the listed 1997–98 NA 1.6/1.8 applications; excludes earlier 1.6 applications and the turbo variant.
Developed for 97–98 Mazda MX5 / Miata / Eunos Roadster Mk1 (NA) with the 1.6/1.8 engine (B6/BP), this cat-back exhaust system follows the factory mounting points and rear-body clearances while giving the car a more purposeful finish.
The system uses 2.5-inch stainless steel pipework with TIG-welded joints, creating a consistent flow path and a strong foundation for standard or modified builds.

Developed for the Mazda MX-5 NA
The original MX-5 is defined by low weight, direct controls and a responsive
naturally aspirated engine. Exhaust upgrades for the NA should complement that
character with clean response and an engaging tone without masking the car’s
simplicity. Check the product-specific engine, model-year and fitment details above,
as 1.6 and 1.8-litre applications are not always interchangeable.
