Replacement tubular exhaust manifold for the Subaru Impreza WRX or STi with the EJ20 engine.

This part will increase power especially at higher RPM where the gases are able to flow better. It not essential but you can heat wrap the manifold for further performance gains. Made from Stainless Steel.

Sound and character

This is still an unequal length manifold so you will keep the unique sound of that boxer flat four.

Design features

The flange between the manifold and the up-pipe is a V-band which means there is no gasket in that area to fail which is a common problem when you start to tune the EJ engine. It is also critical that the flanges are perfectly aligned before the clamp is fully tightened to seal the joint.

Fitment notes

In the box you will find: Manifold Up-pipe V-Band Clamp Gaskets Required Studs & Nuts Fits turbo cars made between 1992 and 2005, with the single inlet TD04 or TD05 turbo. Fitting advice; This manifold uses a V-Band assembly which will leak if not properly installed.

Important: V-band assemblies do not use a gasket and therefore will require a light smear of high temp RTV silicone to establish a gas tight seal. This can be very tight to the sump on some models and occasionally requires the sump to have a minor modification or you can just fit the twin scroll sump.

This manifold has 1.5″ ID runners which come together and go into a precat replacing 2.25″ ID up-pipe. The manifold has the ports for the lambda and temp sensors.
