Mazda MX5/Miata NB 1.6/1.8 Dual 4″ Exit Tailpipes Catback Exhaust
Mazda MX5/Miata NB 1.6/1.8 Dual 4″ Exit Tailpipes Catback Exhaust
Mazda MX5/Miata NB 1.6/1.8 Dual 4″ Exit Tailpipes Catback Exhaust
Important fitment information
Important: A nice tidy dual exit exhaust to give the car that classic sports car look without going over the top. This is the raw version without the resonator so you hear all the sounds from the engine. Requires a bumper cut for the left side tailpipe. On the Mk2 the cat is in the centre pipe and so this will be a catback but on the Mk2.5 the cat is between the manifold and the centre pipe and so this system will then be a centre pipe back.
Developed for 98–05 Mazda MX5 / Miata Mk2/Mk2.5 (NB/NBFL) with the 1.6/1.8 engine (B6/BP), this cat-back exhaust system follows the factory mounting points and rear-body clearances while giving the car a more purposeful finish.
The system uses 2.5-inch stainless steel pipework with TIG-welded joints, creating a consistent flow path and a strong foundation for standard or modified builds.

Mazda MX-5 Mk2 and Mk2.5: Built Around the Roadster
The second-generation Mazda MX-5 combines low weight, compact dimensions and a simple rear-wheel-drive layout. A well-matched exhaust can add a deeper, more distinctive tone while preserving the responsive character that makes these cars so enjoyable to drive.
Although the Mk2 and Mk2.5 share the same basic platform, the catalytic converter is positioned differently. On Mk2 models it is located in the centre pipe, while Mk2.5 models position it between the manifold and centre pipe. Confirm the NB or NBFL chassis reference, engine size and product-specific fitment notes before ordering.
